Materials Needed:

  • Color Swell air dry clay
  • Color Swell watercolors
  • Optional: plastic fork, spork, knife, and/or spoon
  • Safety mat: newspaper or cloth (recommended)

Instructions:

  • Step 1: Use the air dry clay to sculpt animals, figurines or abstract shapes 
  • Step 2: Allow 24-72 hours for the sculptures for the clay to dry
  • Step 3: Once the clay is fully dry use watercolors to paint the sculpture 

Tips for Success:

  • Supervision: Depending on the age group, adult supervision may be needed, especially when using scissors, glue, or any potentially messy materials.
