When I do bad caricatures in the street, I always attract a crowd.
I may not be a good artist, but I can sure draw attention.
Project: Sponge Painted Rainbows
Materials Needed:
- Sponges cut into small pieces
- Washable paint in rainbow colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple)
- White paper or cardstock
- Paper plate or palette for paint
Instructions:
- Step 1: Pour each color of paint onto a paper plate or palette.
- Step 2: Dip a sponge piece into one color of paint and dab excess off on the plate.
- Step 3: Starting at the bottom of the paper, dab the sponge in an arch shape to create a rainbow.
- Step 4: Repeat with each color, overlapping slightly to create a blended effect.
- Step 5: Let the painting dry completely before displaying.
